After a fish and chips lunch from the neighboring restaurant we headed on to our next stop which was Owls Head Light in Rockland. This was another nice lighthouse to see and by now we have learned that is best to ask the locals for directions when we get into the general area, we would not have found this one had we not asked or it would have taken us a lot longer.

... received our gear, and were off to the climb. All of us loaded up in the minivan with Kyle and were directed to a great spot known as Otter Cliffs. There was a short and fun traverse over some narrow rock passes to get down to the actual climbing spot, which provided some great views of the ocean below and also help build the excitement of the climb itself... it was really a great choice on the part of our instructor.

The first climb we did was up two different ...

... and Marina on Washington Street. The small marina is located on the Union River and is perfect for having a scenic lunch such as I did, or for launching your boats. There were many smaller boats floating and drifting in the calm waters which made for a beautiful sight, they dotted the river all ...
