    So the kids arrived yesterday...eek! It's been hectic but so much fun! We only have 5 kids in our cabin this week, and they all seem to be getting on fine, making new friends and getting on with their activities. One of them even asked me for a ukelele lesson this morning and got his first stripe (their achievement levels, like a grade exam...I felt like a proud parent!).     Maine IS very pretty and a great place to visit. If you enjoy the outdoors, you've got to go to Acadia National Park! It's beautiful and you can spend a day there hiking, whale watching from the beaches, picnicking and blueberry picking (lots of wild blueberries starting in July).The very popular hike is the Bee Hive because it doesn't take very long to get excellent views of the area. Be advised you will be pushing and pulling yourself up steep trails ...
