OK, the strangest place I've ever been. Parks are filled with random groups of people dancing, waving flags, doing strange exercise routines and singing. I arrived on Friday after the 2 day train from Mongolia. The city is not at all what I expected. Its spacious and modern. I think a lot of this is down to the olympics. All the famous sights like …
The Smoggy City
We arrived in Beijing mid-afternoon on 4 June 2010. To begin with, it didn't seem as hot as expected, however the smog did take us by surprise - it is very visible here. And the day began with lots and lots of rain. We visit the Ming Tomb first. I …

It is a lovely hotel. Suited to students. Rooms are very nice but small, internet is good but slow when there are lots of poeple using it. I would recommend to school trips, not to familes.
