      ... through the bridge. Some mild panic resulted as the various boats scrambled to stay out of the way. Further along the southbound boats simply moved aside until the barge passed while others asked the tug captain what their move to avoid him should be. The captain's response was usually something along the line of "stay out from in front of me" and "just don't run into me," both of which seemed pretty obvious.

      ... a few going into the forest and this area was known for bear hunting. I don’t know what I am supposed to be more scared of, the bears or the hunters. Anyway we didn’t end up spotting either and the hike was quiet. Well sort of quiet. The National Forest was right on the edge of an army air base so there were jets taking off every few minutes.
