          ... a loaner car from the marina which is really nice.
          We take the tender to the beach for swimming and I have been working all week.

          Today at the marina they are hosting the King of the Cape Open king mackerel Tournament. Pro tournament is today, with a first place price of $20,000.

          It was a fun evening and Les and Suzanne were great hosts. They are passionate about sailing and have been able to make some money doing what they love to do. How good is that?

          Well, we are about through here in New Bern. We will pack up and head further north tomorrow, to the Outer Banks. We would definitely put this area on the list of places we will return to. A small but quaint town.

          We went up the road and since I had the GPS already programmed, it said to take the 17. I just kept going so it would recalculate and when we got to the 31 it said to take it going north.           ... base, as if they were sucking up swamp water to survive. It was a bit buggy, but not as bad as we thought it may be with all of the surrounding moist swamps. The forest was a mix of tall pines and deciduous trees. A lot of the trees had moss hanging on to the branches or vine growing up the entire trunk.
