... easily seen. Nearby were some other rides so Ruth and JJ rode a roller coaster called Boomerang and a spinning ride called Tasmanian Devil.

It was now well after 2pm so we went off to find lunch. We had bought a package deal on line so we needed to find the appropriate retail outlet which was on the other side of the site of course.

... 39. So we did. We had lunch at the Wipe-out bar and grill. Marie had fish and chips and I, having eaten curry not long ago, had an appetizer of coconut shrimp skewers. It was great. Then we caught the bus back to the tour office and walked (uphill) back to the hotel. ... orange and that the Bay Bridge is commonly known as the jealous older brother of the Golden Gate. We headed down California Street which had some very steep hills and as we hit the flatter areas the bus would scrape at the bottom as it was going over the bumps. As the night started to darken the tour came to an end. We are staying in Lombard st which even though a very long street is also known for a small part as The Crookest St in world. So after arriving decided to walk up & check it out. ... views down onto sf! Toddled back after a couple of cheeky strong cocktails. Last day was thanksgiving and we got up early and went to the highest street in sf and watched the sun come up which was pretty amazing. Then got back to the hotel got sorted watched a bit of the parade then went out for thanksgiving dinner, watched some American football and had some more drinks then off to the airport, which as the worst airport ever!! Nightmare to find a place for a vodka! Next stop ...
