Spent the weekend doing the tourist thing around San Francisco. Caught the ferry across the bay and then got the Hop-on Hop off bus. Wandered Pier 39, the Fisherman's Wharf area and nearby streets, took in the sights around the Golden Gate Bridge which is always spectacular (we were here 15 years ago). The next day we went back and checked out Chinatown and City Hall ...
We are having a quick cup of joe and catching up on the news while we wait to board our flight to Japan! Very excited about the trip, even with the long day of flying ahead of us (10 hours to Japan, and then another 10 to Auckland). Packing was a challenge..we decided to go carry on only. I am a good packer but this was an extra challenge for me. Bringing enough stuff for a month (assuming we do some laundry along the way) and Cal's stuff is much bigger than mine ...

Another busy day.This morning, the girls made pancakes for breakfast. Afterwards, quickly to the park for exercise. Beautiful weather here but we can see the fog bank on the coast line.
