... at New River Inlet while we proceeded to the Surf City Bridge. We were making miles and Otto was driving (Otto is our faithful autopilot). Out of the blue, Otto decides to make a 90 degree left turn. The channel here is pretty narrow so Otto was quickly relieved of his duties and hand steering took over. Prechter, Haley, Caitlin and Bennette all came down to camp out on Friday and bring some music to the Surf City Campground. Oh, and Blue... At low tide this morning we walked over to the sandbar in the inlet. Very cool walking through the water to reach this high spot. Lilly built her usual sand structure while Charlotte swan and explored the sand bar. Next year's house sits right on the sound with a dock that goes out to it and steps ...
