Stopped in Wayne to attend the Wayne Chamber of Commerce coffee and talk shop politically with some fine business and community leaders there.
They have come a long, long way from that devastating tornado last fall.
Three cheers for the can-do spirit in Wayne as it revitalizes itself after that disaster and proves that, with community involvement, no disaster can keep a good community down for long.

We started a campaign swing through northeast and north central Nebraska this morning at that fine establishment, followed by an interview with the Pender Times.

After a motel breakfast we drove south to Le Mars, again. After driving all around town a hill top view of Iowa corn fields being readied for planting needed to have it's picture taken.
