The day is FINALLY here!! My countdown timer, built for me by my incredibly talented hubby, was over 300 days when it started. It is now down to less than 2 hours! I have already threatened to dump everything out of suitcases so that I can the dogs with me but I am pretty sure the dogs would have a different view ...
It's all done now but for the leavin'..! My heart is racing and breathing is not being done in any kind of normal way. Of course, 5000 last minute complications have shown their ugly little heads but they have all been dealt with and now it is on to a VERY long night. I am pretty sure sleep will be optional for Eric and me both but it might help us sleep a little easier on the plane ...
I cannot believe it is almost here! And thank goodness the rain has stopped for now because I was afraid the friend taking us to the airport was going to have to track down an ark to get us there!

04/30 - 5/1 Taylorsville State Park, Mt. Eden KT “Destination: Bourbon Trail”
Yahoo! We arrived ready with a plan of the distilleries we want to visit, thinking 3 a day ...turned into 2 a day - am, lunch, pm… back to camp & nap. And btw, Taylorsville State Park is a really nice campground! ...not just saying that because Denise surprised us with dessert!
