    ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs.     ... the real deal. The traditional buildings, and old fashioned style give tourist a true “southern hospitality” feeling. There were plenty of people around me who were also taking pictures, buying merchandise, but mostly, enjoying the fresh air, and absorbing all of the history, and culture.

    Drove to Dallas and took a tour of AT&T stadium, home of the Dallas Cowgirls. The stadium was incredible. Hate to say it, but it blows Cardinal stadium away. The giant HD screen is fantastic. Biggest in the world. We toured the luxury boxes, the locker rooms, the cheerleaders locker room, the post game press conference room and the pro shop.
