      Great value, clean & nice

      from

This is truly a great find. The Indian Trail really held up to the Trip Advisor reviews. The room was large & clean and neat. The beds were comfortable. The in-room fridge was large & a microwave was included. The nature trail on the grounds was fun for my kids, and the indoor & outdoor pools were very nicely kept. The whirlpool was wonderful. I never stay at motels, but I took a chance because of the tripadvisor reviews, and I was not disappointed. The location was nice & the room was quiet. Be sure to pay the $10 and get the 2 for 1 Dells card at the office-- it saved us a lot of money on the attractions we went to. The Family Chef restaurant next door had decent food, but I thought it was overpriced. I would stay at Indian Trail again--great value, nice atmosphere.

      Best Deal In The Dells!

      from

Me and my Family stayed at Indian Trail Motel and WOW what a deal, I expected a so so room for the reasonable rate I was quoted and boy was I wrong. This was a very clean, well kept Motel with a beautiful Indoor Pool and Jaczzi. The grounds were outstanding with what I believe to be the nicest grass I ever had the pleasure of walking on. I highly recommend Indian Trail Motel and will be returning.

Are you kidding me? Must read before staying....

      from

Okay, after reading the previous reviews and booking a sweet price ($40) I thought I had hit the jackpot. Then we arrived.

First let me say the manager (who lives on site) was very nice and polite. The place was maintained, and I will not complain about them at all.

Second compliment goes to the pools. Heated, clean, and updated. The indoor pool was nice, and quiet.

Now to the portion you don't hear about in the previous reviews.

This is a MOtel---MOtel. We are talking three strips of rooms, with big windows and plastic chairs out front. These rooms had not been updated since I have been alive and that is not a joke or an exaggeration. Two walls of concrete block, two walls of DARK panelling. Old blue comforters on the beds (however they were queen beds which was nice). The television had cable, however, it was a hoot to see our kids staring at the very old tv. The couldn't believe they used to look like this. Though the place appeared clean, it was very dark and just gave you a slightly uneasy feel (however, my husband said it isn't that bad). Bathroom, teeny tiny. Air conditioner--window unit with horrible noise.

Would I stay there again? Not likely to happen. If you are on a small budget, and don't care about aesthetics at all....sure. I'm posting some pictures as well.

      A Gem of a Motel

      from

Went there for a swim in the pool.

The pool is clean, water feels great, just the right temperature, great hours posted for availability of the pool. Good size pool too. Someone takes really good care of the outdoor pool. The indoor pool is lovely with a jacuzzi too.

Rooms are a sweet retro-feel and well kept. Have a micro and refrigerator.

Porch area with chairs outside the room for lounging.

The grounds are green and enjoyable.

Staff there are helpful and friendly.

      Super place. Highly recommend.

      Great Honeymoon Place

      from

Been there for our honeymoon. Great place, great management. Did everthing I asked for our special night. Quiet motel, large property, bon-fire exceptional didn't expect it. Thanks for the memories, will be back for our 1st anniversary. Thanks guys and God Bless You both.

      Great deal! Great time!

      from

We stayed for two nights, mid week, the second week in July. The motel is located about 1 minute from the main downtown area. We got a great internet rate of $65. The room had just had a redo- updated bathroom, new fridge & microwave. While the furninshings still hinted a little bit of the past, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. They have a huge outdoor pool and a brand new indoor pool. hot tub and sauna. They even provided beach balls at the indoor pool that my son and I had a great time throwing around. Wisconsin Dells is not about staying in your room; so why pay a high price? I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

What a Great Place away from the noise!

      from

We come here every year for our traditional family re-union with familys coming from all over the USA & United Kingdom. The people who run this place are young with such wonderful heart. Treat us as if are family. Would not stay anywhere else. The large grassy grounds really works well for us. Thank you again and see you this summer of 2005.

A great place to stay while at the Dells!

      from

This is a very nice motel and the people are friendly. The outdoor pool is great. I wish we could be there right now! Rooms are clean and the grounds are spotless. Someone cares for this place and you will enjoy your stay.......

      Indian Trail Motel Is Awesome!

      from

I had a wonderful time at Indian Trail Motel last summer! The place was comfortable (and clean!), the rate was reasonable, and the woman who owned and ran the business was most hospitable. I highly recommend Indian Trail Motel!

      Great Place for Family Reunions

      from

What a wonderful place to stay and meet with other family members. Had our family reunion there in July 2003 for about 50 people. Grounds are very large for kids to play and even for the adults we had a large area to play too. At night we all got together by the fireplace to sing our songs. Even other people joined in. The owners are so friendly and courtious it felt as if they were part of my family. Thank you so much.

      Will be back again.

... seeing some sandhill cranes along the way. The walk to the arch is up the hill so I went alone. The hillside at one point was covered in poison ivy. First time I've really seen it. Viewing an arch covered with lichen and moss and trees and in a wooded glen is a little different for me. Being right on the edge of the driftless area the rock was not eroded by the glaciers and is very old. Somehow ...

We arrived at the bland and nondescript Carr Valley Cheese factory in La Valle about 11am and were able to watch a part of the cheese making process as they cut curd and pressed and stacked the rounds. Bought more curd, plus some of their specialty cheese.
