    ... one car at a time. This made for some nerve testing moments, especially since this is the only road up/down the mountain!
    Imagine two cars passing with a fraction of an inch between their side mirrors and a steep drop down with no barrier at the edge of the road! But don't let that scare you!
    If you get the chance to take the road to the top by all means do it! The views are breath-taking and will afford everyone a zen-like experience.

    Today we're driving out of Boston on our way to Quebec. But first we had to pick up our hire car (obviously or we wouldn't be able to drive out of Boston). What a difference hiring a car in the US compared with Italy, France or the UK. Germany was good.     ... the throngs of leaf peepers would descend on the Kanc. I was energized by the scent of fresh pine and the glorious mountain vistas. My only care in the world was Surly's slipping gears.
