... Many older homes were narrow, long and high. Copper Harbor, Michigan's most northerly point on the lake, shows off a beautiful lighthouse, but not accessible. However, Eagle River Lighthouse made for a delightful stop. One reason, tho....Gustof, a golden retriever allowed me to have a "Harley fix"!! A quick stop at a monk's ...

Very boring drive as not a lot to see, so we wanted to get some kilometers behind us, so we drove 1,000 kms on Saturday, traveling till darkness fell at approx 9:45 pm when I saw a sign that said " watch for Moose next 35 miles", that did it and we started to look for a place, but all we saw were trees and lakes, as I began to image us sleeping at a rest stop! Wisconsin is a state of 10,000 ...

... a day. Must have been a horribly demanding job. We walked the shoreline-absolutely no one around. All kinds of cool looking stones on shoreline. Could get 2 and 3/4 hour boat ride to painted rocks-we didn't take it due to the rainy weather.
