Wish I’d continued a little further yesterday to Nancy Green Pr Pk. It’s small but a gorgeous spot and excellent trails along both sides of the lake. Oh well, next time ...

Drove as far as Grand Forks just to see the place, but went back to Christina Lake to spend the night. Enjoyed a delicious Lemon Pie Ice Cream cone before cleaning up the van for the border crossing tomorrow. Wouldn't want to have any uncooked potatoes or carrots, you know!!!

It was a shame we didnt get fresh snow while we were there as Red had some amazing tree runs, great steeps and the fall line of the mountain was perfect, oh and it was deserted! The downside of Red was the lifts, wow they were slow. Normally you get a couple on the mountain that are slow but every single lift was slow ...

... would be brought down later when the weather began to cool off. There were several open-sided "barns" with tin roofs for hay storage but no animals in view.

South of Merrit, as we climbed a fairly steep grade, there were patches where clear-cutting had taken place or where logging is currently being done. We saw something along this grade and over its summit that ...
