    Wish I’d continued a little further yesterday to Nancy Green Pr Pk. It’s small but a gorgeous spot and excellent trails along both sides of the lake. Oh well, next time ...

    Drove as far as Grand Forks just to see the place, but went back to Christina Lake to spend the night. Enjoyed a delicious Lemon Pie Ice Cream cone before cleaning up the van for the border crossing tomorrow. Wouldn't want to have any uncooked potatoes or carrots, you know!!!

    ... the Cat up the hill. It was a bumpy ride and it was good to experience what cat skiing would be like. We all pretty much quit early and went back in. Most the boys were already drunk from hitting the bar again! Twisty bought $400 worth of alcohol for a big party bus on the way home. Lots of drinking and singing to songs lol. We made it home safely :) Allana's friend Amelia was at our place who arrived from Vancouver that day. She is spending the next 5 days with us. Lovely ...

    ... required, thus we had to pick up the ski bum hitch hiker on the way its what you do! When we got to Red it was evident they had not had anywhere near the snow that Big White had. Not only by the snow on the ground but looking at people skiis and boards that were on the racks the gouges and scratches were plentiful! Clearly the snow conditions here are hit and miss.

    ... June, the fields were green and filled with wildflowers. Now those fields have been mowed and baled—either in big rectangular bales or big round ones. The stubble is now either a yellow brown or a slightly green tint, depending upon the amount of water available. It sure wasn’t as pretty as it was in June, and it was certainly warmer.
