    ... tankers or barges. We did almost hit a drum of some kind, that was a bit scary. No matter how peaceful night crossings can be I am always scared for what I can't see in the water, and we have seen a lot of logs and debris in most places, especially on the Hudson.     ... there when you know where to look and have some binoculars. Met 3 different couples on the boat who had been to NZ last year and know more about our birds than we did.

    Monday: We headed off for 2 nights at the Seaview golf resort for George to have a golf and car fix.
