As it turned out there was no accommodation at Prineville so we about faced and went back to Redmond and grabbed the last 6 rooms at the Super 8. We will complete the scenic option giver to us in Bend tomorrow when we strike out for Boise, that means another border crossing as we head into Idaho.

... We went to a country fair in the afternoon but again it was a bit hot to really enjoy as there wasn't much shade. It was nice to see the families out enjoying themselves though.
