    ... I rode her. She behaved ohhh soooo good. Although there was plenty of bad weather around us we somehow managed to stay ahead and away of the bad stuff.

    On arrival at the hotel we checked in and then immediately visited the beach, which is directly across from the hotel, and thereafter we took a plunge in the hotels heated pool.

    My last day in Florida, and I decided to do what most Floridians do: GOLF! I figured it was about time I started to act like the locals, haha! We started out a little before noon, and it was apparent that we would be taking our chances with those famous Florida thunderstorms.     ... people great. We met some locals who told us where to go to touch a manatee, which by the way is against the law. No touching,no feeding and no harassing manatees.

    A couple guys were checking out the truck while we were in eating and of course Wolf tried to sell it. We also met a couple of guys retired from N.J. who looked like bikers. They were retired Verizon and Mobile Oil. The people here are really nice. The retired ...

    ... of all those items with the exception of the Pepto. The only reason I could think of is it would help when you see all the disgusting ruin from the oil and you're about to hurl?

    From a positive environmental perspective, there is new sea grass and sea grape vegetation planted in the new dunes. Every little bit helps.

    It was a quick but rejuvenating weekend.
