It's been a very busy three days, so I’m going to do my best and get this blog up to date by the end of today! Three long entries coming your way followers!
On Monday we booked up our Airboat Gator trip and dinner at Medieval Times for Tuesday so had a proper itinerary to follow. We got up and had breakfast together then drove to Kissimmee for our Spirit of the Swamp 90 minute airboat tour of Lake Tohopekaliga, the largest lake located in Osceola County ...
... we did an animal safari and then caught the bus back to the hotel around 5pm. We all had a rest and then went to our hotel restaurant for full buffet dinner. The people even brought different meats to the table to carve for you. I think there was about 8 different kinda of meat. It was beautiful. After tea we all just laid around as we were buggered after 2 longs days at Disney ...
... really expensive and we were expecting some interesting local gourmet food, fish was mentioned in the description but not available, the food was a basic buffet - we could get at least as good at home for 1/4 of the price and wine was extra!!

... we had a huge thunder storm come through. Felt bad for our neighbors who are in a tent. During the middle of the storm the fireworks went off as scheduled. That's Disney for you. You can't beat Disney for a quality product.

Despite the bad weather & annoyance of dealing with a multitude of slack jawed faces, who evidently think that water must cause chemical burns like nitric acid. Jodie & I persevered. Yes, we got really wet. Soaked head to toe, but we didn't care. We stamped through the puddles and still managed to do the majority of the fun stuff before leaving early to return to the resort.
