... it appears almost as if the letters tumbled off the old sign and were left where they fell. The final feature of note I found was the Bobblehead Museum. ... 4 hours and there is not much there! Back to sea and then to Cartagena. A very old city and a very new city. Lots of history and colours. Two more sea days and we arrive in Miami. Taxi to the airport and flight back to Detroit. Thanks to Bob & Bonnie for the airport transportation.

... Even some of the Gossip Girl known locations (except the Empire Building) let me down, as they hardly resembled how they were portrayed on the shows. After doing all the walking, it was dark, so I headed to Times Square. On the way, I saw a red carpet event on at the Times Warner Building (not that I knew what it was about), but it was cool to see paparazzi go to work. To get a feel for Hollywood Beach do a google images search. But do avoid looking at the hi-rise photos. They don't at all do the place justice.

Nedxt we head for John Ford Point, where the film director, who often used this location, used to sit and think. An Indian horseman, hoping for a few tips, lends a bit of atmosphere to the location. The monuments fiery red spindles, sheer-walled mesas and grand buttes have been in numerous movies and TV commercials.
