What a great day to head out to Miami! Sun is shining and it's an easy drive. I rented from Hertz and after going round and round looking for a little sign that said Hertz we pulled in. It was great because they are close to the cruise port and they offer a free shuttle over to Carnival!

We walked along Calle Ocho (the Main Street of Little Havana) to the Bay of Pigs Memorial, poked our heads into a Miami-Cuban cigar factory, had a Miami-Cuban-style lunch, went to a domino park then made it back to the hotel in time for the official Road Scholar orientation to begin....
