Well we did end up going to WWWA and it was a great idea for the boys as it was soooo hot! It was in the mid 30's for most of the day & even still 28 degrees at 6pm. It's a very sultry, humid heat too which is great when you're in the pool but sweaty when you are watching & taking photos of your children coming down the various slides (or of other people too if you don't know when they are coming - lots of photo ...

... of Hogwarts (the wizarding school), which was full of interesting items from the movies and short filmed segments by the characters to keep you entertained in the queue. The ride itself puts you in a moving simulation like you are flying above the castle grounds folowing the characters. Breathed on by dragons and almost hit by the whomping willow, chased by Dementors etc. it was amazing! Following that we went on a "family friendly" roller coaster ride called the Flight of ...

... rock it, but a lot of 3D and simulator rides including disposable me, The Simpsons, transformers and ET- all were great! We also had a photo with Homer, Marge and Bart. We also went to all the shows and went back at night to view the showing of 100 years of movies with fireworks. Still doesn't beat wishes at Disney! In between we had dinner at NBA city! Ryan was very happy! We were exhausted so back to to the room after the night show ready for another day at the ...

It's all about the rides - Universal Studios

Today was our Universal Studios day. This is always slightly scary since we leave Disney property and have to deal with the real world. We called for a taxi, which arrived right on time. We were at Universal within 20 minutes. We sort of have a tradition here. We always ride the Mummy first. Today, we rode it twice in a row. This is a great ride. Lots of fire and mist. You go through so much mist that your face is usually wet by the end. This is very nice on hot days like today. ...
