... that with inches to spare on both sides and people walking on the road. I was sure that I ran over someones toes. Anyway we made it well before dark and after seeing the very tight spots and several tries to line the RV's up, I knew it would have been impossible after dark. We will see what tomorrow brings. ... On to Dinosaur National Monument in the morning (forecast... rain).

Time for bed... It's 1:40 a.m.

Later in the morning (!), after a few hours' sleep, we had a nice complementary hot breakfast at the Crystal Inn before departing at ~9:00 a.m. A little later than we wanted, but we needed the sleep after last night's late drive.

Destination for today, Dinasaur National Monument and then Rangely, CO to spend the night...

All the buildings and other structures are gone.. brick from the liners of the boilers is scattered for miles along the road bed… On some of the Y’s the ties are still lying on the ground and if your looking really hard you might see a date nail, spike or other metal part left over the years…

Some of the locations had signs that gave an overview of what was at this location ...
