From camp, we headed north on the Blue Ridge Parkway a couple miles and stopped at the Flat Top Parking Area at the edge of Peaks of Otter Recreation Area, which ...

After that it was find a McD’s with good wifi access in Roanoke - no luck ...

... but they weren't open until 10:00am; glad I didn't, as this is really a walking city.

    • Outdoor concerts & street performers everywhere.
    • Took in a movie at an old, restored movie theatre to end the night. Saw "Skeleton Twins" - loved this movie - well done, powerful, emotional.
    • 47 miles.
    • Will wake up in the morning (Sunday), hit my favorite cafe, and figure out where to next!!! ...
