Today we cycled into Blacksburg via Radford VA. Route 654 , the old Baltimore road was serene and a wonderful early morning view of this part of Virginia. Today was a day for local sightseeing, so Joe, Tony and I headed downtown Roanoke to visit the Virginia Museum of Transportation. While we went primarily for the railroad items, the museum also has some really nice displays for other modes of transportation, including air flight and a 1949 school bus.
