    Having vegetated at the LA Adventurer Hotel for far too long, I finally generated an escape velocity, booked a ticket to /Guangzhou China on China Southern Airlines. Flt. # _____. Fifteen hours non stop LAX to CAN.
    Said some goodbyes but not to exploitive, greedy hotel owner, Frank Martini.

    Met some interesting likable people there [Roger Montford], but most of the regulars were dull alcoholics.

    ... this huge ordeal about the clippers owner being very racist on the phone to his now ex-girlfriend. Mind you he is married but thats not being brought up. Anywho, the NBA have fined him 2.5million, told him to sell the team and he is banned for life. Its put a real downer on the clippers team and supporters as its normally the lakers everyone is supporting as they normally get into the finals.
