... of locals. The place was hopping and continued to do so until our departure. Everyone in line was taken care off. Fun to people watch as we in our warmer clothes, enjoyed the sandal wearing, short and t-shirt groups coming in. Made me hotter and hotter, I could hardly wait to ditch my wolly socks! It was clear we were overdressed.
Tomorrow we head to Savannagh, Georgia for a couple of days. Night now!
... vacations over the past few years, I wish I would have written down the things we did, the prices we paid, the places we stayed, the restaurants we ate in, and especially the good times we had.

... for poor visibility we were ducking in and out of the channel to avoid Navy traffic.
During the trip down anything that wasn't fastened down below ended up on the floor in the salon. Left Annapolis at 2 Monday and arrived at Top Rack Marina at about 2 this afternoon. Rewarded ourselves with a great dinner out at the Amber Lantern Restaurant. Early to bed. Up at 5:30 tomorrow to get underway at first light.
... of stench. It wasn’t long before we realised the mystery mobile was running on fumes, we knew we had reached our first hurdle. Rolling up to the next petrol station, thankfully 5 minutes down the line, we agreed the mistake would not be made again. 48 hours later and our combined incompetency meant the engine refused once more to satisfy our travelling needs. ... totally skunked. But on day 3 after the wind returned we were making good time with full mainsail and genoa in SW winds of 12-16, producing boat speed of 6 to 9 kts. Not long after dawn we hooked some sort of billfish – identified by seeing the head and bill break water – but we never positively identified it as it soon escaped via a broken hook.
