... by the sea and had fun people watching. I saw a couple that were playing with their cell pones and didn't look at each other, nor speak for a good half hour. Dang, wassup wit dat ??.

Soon it was time to motor back home to ol Charlie and relax a bit before it got dark. I did walk across the foot bridge on the resort and over to the little island. It is a peaceful place and I'm glad I spent a few days there. I may even come back one ...

Today is Saturday, October 3rd, so it must be day 13 of my NP tour. Today we spend an hour or so waking through the lost luggage store in Scottsboro, Alabama where Barbara bought a new John Lescroart book for $3, and we got the road for Florida. ... to Doc in Bradenton showed further movement in the shoulder, so I'm scheduled for surgery next Wednesday, We probably will stay put until the Doc releases me from care, then we could start a shortened Louisiana trip (Bayou Country) before heading north to kids & grands in MA.
