One Balloon Brings A Smile; 500 Balloons Brings...
... in an event called Mass Ascension. Ross and I got up at 4:00am, brushed our teeth, fed and walked the dog, and got in the car to drive the one mile to the balloon field. But instead of one mile, traffic control personnel forced us to turn the opposite direction, again, and again. We ended up in a long line of traffic that caused that original 5 minute drive to become an ...
Chihuly in the Dining Room
... helpful. One carried my bags up to my room, despite the fact that there was an elevator. I offered to handle it myself, but he wasn't taking no for an answer. Out of the train I quickly found my bus that would take me to the ABQ Bio Park. This is about the only thing that is open at 9 in ...
Time to go back to the USA
... crew members to arrive from other flights that they had been on. We were home sometime after 11 p.m. and ready to see the familiar place.
This has been a fun trip trying out new things. My favorite parts were the Baldi Hot Springs and the trip to feed the monkeys. I'd do both of those again for sure. Oh, and watching the crocodiles being feed by the tour guides. That was amazing, too.
