... sandwich bread. We wandered next door to the bar to order a beer & I had a fireball & sprite which was warming with kick to it. There was a mother map in the bar and we were going to stick our pin in it, but once focused realised it was only of America. The barmaid came offer with a red pen, asking where we cam for , as from England we could write on a brick surrounding the map. Today was a nice day. Since the venue was an arena, load in / load out went smoothly. Building the Main LED screen was nice because it was just myself and two others. Since our main activity of today was to be this evening at the Hard Rock Casino, we slept in and took our time with breakfast and reading the news on our iPads. ... is now the gift shop. This location is an "Official Laura Ingalls Wilder Homesite", and this particular one is where the first book, "Little House on the Prairie" is based. I know I read all of the books as a child and that both of our daughters, Laura and Kim did also as I made sure of it. I know that many of you ladies reading this blog must have read them too...good memories!
