Took the 'Model A' for a spin around the mountains. Ran like a dream.
Visited the 'Western Jubilee Recording Company' in Colorado Springs.
Country singing legend, Don Edwards often performs there to an invited audience. Owner is a good friend of Willy's.
The entire building is pretty much a museum dedicated to Western music as well as a recording studio. Definitely worth the visit.....

It indoors and is a grouping of buildings of a typical old west town and the buildings are filled with ...

... starting to feel comfortable with each other, and the thud thud thud of the wheels made us start to nod in rythym to that of the coach.

We returned to our bus, and Dave arranged to have Dianne meet us for dinner. We selected a family-owned Mexican spot and happily chowed down our meal. That old adage is apparently true: Memories made with friends ...

Well, we took our time getting moving this morning, as the rain had moved in and was here to stay. Actually, it was still pretty, with the clouds in the mountains and the aspens turning color more each day. But we said our goodbyes to Grand Lake, and began the journey to Colorado Springs. I volunteered to drive, as I haven't done much driving. I was expecting a major highway, but I got a road that went HIGH into ...
