    Tumbleweed flowing across the highway, winds 50 miles per hour moving my car, sand clouding my view of the highway and isolated desert towns with less than a thousand inhabitants... my GPS freezes and I am in the middle of nowhere. I laugh in despair looking at my printed Google Maps directions in hopes that I can somehow figure out where I am. No luck. I turn to my stepfather in the passenger seat and just faintly smile at him. We are lost.

    ... at his sale. He was really busy most of the day. He really enjoys going to Estate Sales and Auctions to buy second hand stuff and then resells it out of his building. He is going to Marion on Wednesday to an Estate Sale on the Boulevard which is the posh part of town. Then I finished the blog. Larry saw on his iPad that Erin had checked in at the Seattle Airport so she got home safely. Back to work tomorrow for her. This being retired is really cool.

    ... a hailstorm that even traveling 5 mph feels like a risk (especially when you can't see more than about 15 feet in front of the car, yikes!)

    Time to scout out some fireworks! Unfortunately, it's totally illegal in Colorado, so we have to see if we can walk to where we can view as show being put on at a nearby baseball stadium.

    ... unless you were Brian who had his Gerber Gloves with battery pack that kept his hands beautifully warm. We walked around taking photos of the beautiful vista before us and then took refuge in the cafe / gift shop.

    The train whistle blasted and it was time to borad for the return trip. We returned back to the hotel and then went out for dinner a lovely end to a perfect day.
