... We were lucky to link up with a park volunteer
who lead our group through the park explaining the geology; we learned a lot that we would not have if we wondered the paths ourselves. Wandering the park, the trading post store and watching the orientation film took up most of the afternoon. Prior to returning to the camper we did another of those mundane things, we went to the grocery store.

... and dinner. It is just down the street from the hotel and the food was really good. By the time we had finished dinner, the storm had passed and the sun had come out. Lovely views from our hotel balcony. We also met a couple of local girls, cross Pit Bull and American Staffy, who were 3 months old. Sooo cute!
