After Jan's online class this morning, we repacked the car and loaded the dog for the last time, and started for home. We had kind-of, half-heartedly decided that we were finished with sight-seeing and we would just head home, but we didn't get far...only blocks, really...when Bob suggested that we drive through Colorado National Monument since we were here. In the afternoon we visited the Garden of the Gods here in Manitou Springs. It is very picturesque, lots of ...

... had to take a few pics in the snow before riding back down for more pics at the North Pole! By now the temps had risen and needed to stop and shed a few layers, then it was on to the Garden of the Gods, man that very beautiful ! Finding our hotel was a little confusing but in the end we managed it, after unloading our stuff we got back on the bikes and went and found a 'Outback' restaurant for a well deserved steak dinner! Miles ridden today - ...
