... where we got out of the car to boat and bird watch! Then we headed out to Point Loma, which is where San Diego was first discovered. We thought we'd gone the wrong way when we entered an army barracks but turns out you just drive through it to get to the end point! ... on the wrong side of the car and on the wrong side of the road was a shock, but we survived our journey out of the city.

We drove down south on highway 101 along the coastline with great views as the sun went down, unfortunately our car was a little ill and had some electrical issues. The radio didn't work, the inner lights didn't work and the clock re-set every time you turned the car off. All those annoying ...

... hour we gained was lost sitting in Alamo. Eventually we loaded up the mini van and set the Sat nav to the hotel which took 10 minutes.

Lovely hotel pool, fire pit and free cookies which were lovely so Ella told us(she ate them all).Kids were pleased with their room they had bunk beds and Phil and had a double bed each!!!!!!! Early night again with 3 hour time ...
