Met up with John in San Jose and said our goodbyes. Hoping to squelch those miles to San Diego.

Took hwy 101. It was traffic for a long while.. Got glimpses of the oceanic oil fields and random "small towns" inland of the coast.

We went back to the harbor this morning for a whale watching tour. It was a beautiful sunny day, around 65 degrees. It was a little hazy, but improved throughout the day.
