... lazy breakfast, overlooking Sail Bay then out for a long walk / cycle round the bay. You can walk for a couple of hours daily, without having to go anywhere near a road. It is so peaceful and exhilarating. We go to the supermarket, and I go for a pedicure. Weeks of walking on beaches and only wearing flip flops, is not so good on the feet. ... we would need a whole day there so made sure we were there for it opening. (Which meant setting the alarm again!) only 5 miles across the bridge from Coronado it wasn't too early a start! We arrived at the Zoo and thankfully there were no queues. A lady approached us at the ticket gate and gave us a free 1 day membership pass which saved us around 30 dollars - cool. We boarded the tour bus, first ride of the day, again no queues which was good. ...

... Kreme donut. Fairly tasty. The best of all the items that I sampled was the maple bacon donut. It tasted like pancakes with maple syrup and a side of bacon. These are NOT the bacon providers... Nor are these the originators of lamp kabobs...

Good thing we walked all day. For here we are seemingly no worse for wear.
