    ... Wisconsin. John's profession was cemetery attendant (yes, you are ahead of me.)

    The final display in the exhibit is a wall covered in the names of the Titanic passsengers, dividied into classes 1 through 3, and then crew, and then further classified into victims and survivors. John Henry Chapman, second class passenger bound for Wisconsin, did not survive. His wife Sarah (Sara) died with him.

    ... many side dishes with variously spiced unknown-to-me substances, except for broccoli, but the first spicy broccoli I have tasted. All washed down with a cold Corona. A truly Keanu-accented excellent meal.

    And so, the day had started well and ended excellently, with a hot and harried bit in the middle.

    Tomorrow, Saturday, back into the traffic, to visit the Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral and The Museum of Jurassic Technology.

    ... The Pier is also the Western end of Route 66, a road on which we travelled quite a lot on our journey from the east to west coast, so it was call to see the sign that shows the end of the line.

    The director, Andy Cadiff, calls 'action'. Valerie is distracted - he says again "Valerie, action." Laughing, she replies "I know what action is!!" Betty White pipes up "It's been so long since I've had any action, I'm not sure I know what it is anymore." EVERYONE cracks up - the laughter is loud and long.
