We had to go back and try and retrieve it, so while Grant and Jordan were 'passed' person to person on trying to get back in to get J's hat, Kelsi just went back in through the exit and got it just like that! Our first bit of the tour was downtown LA. We were given about 20 minutes not far from City Hall and apparently some building where 'nasty, nasty' people work - the IRS! There was also some park with a nativity scene which was all robed off, as there was going to be a free Christmas lunch for the homeless. Just around the corner there was a street just lined with homeless people all in boxes or under blankets, with even some having trolleys ...

The weather here is mostly hot, and it's just cooling down for winter. It was really humid when we arrived, and now its jeans and windows shut weather. It's still not as cold as where we're heading next. It's winter over on the northeast, in Boston, our next destination! The west coast has treated us well, but we're looking forward to experiencing a completely different side of America.
