      Dinosaurs, Jaws and corn tortillas

Fatigued and hungry we took the freeway to Anaheim in the late afternoon where we will spend the next few days at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. I was intrigued by my first visit to a US supermarket. I found 80 corn tortillas in one bag for $3.57 - too good to be true. While the girls rolled their eyes I saw the opportunity for a lot of Mexican dinners for very little ...

... actually having a few 'zzzzz' when Grant got back around 3pm. He had had quite a journey around Anaheim and finally found his 'Sephora' called Fry's Electronics! He said it was huge like Mega Mitre 10, plus probably bigger and had everything electronic you could think of! He sounded like a kid in a giant lolly shop!

Anyway he returned to the resort by taxi, as it was quite a distance from there.

... make you feel like you have stepped back into the 30’s & Hollywood's hey day. One of the "attractions" I especially wanted to try was "Soaring over California" - this made you feel like you were flying in a hang glider over many of the scenic wonders of California. The scent of oranges ...

... We then headed back into The Magic Kingdom as it opened and headed down to Toontown to meet Mickey Mouse. Our darlings darted and weaved to get to the front and we were second in line to meet and greet Mickey (go kids... Yay) and had some great photos with him. We went on the little roller coaster again and played around on Donald Ducks boat and climbed Chip n Dales tree house. We then went back through FantasyLand to cover all the rides we hadn't been ...

... Elsa and Anna. She was thrilled. I asked Maddie why Elsa was more popular since Anna was the good girl. "Elsa has powers", was
      her reply.
We literally ran into the night parade. Since I had to carry Maddie so see could see, I was only able to get a single picture. After 20 minutes, my arms felt like my legs did earlier.
When Noreen and I were younger, we could do multiple days in Disneyland. Now two days were enough.
So this trip ends. Thanks for coming ...
