After a great sleep and brekkie in our cottagewe needed internet contact. Actually the imperative was to get the previous blog entry done. To Beechworth Bakery for a coffee; but the goodies were irresistable(SB), the vanilla slice - yummy :)

Decided to do the Kingfisher cruise in the wetlands of Barmah on Thurs.

I managed to vote today too! Because I'm so good at procrastinating I had to get my ballot emailed to me by King County Elections then fill it out, fax it back to them, and then take the ballot to the post office and mail it after I made my own security ...

... have been Canada, the next one it looked like somewhere in the Mediterranean area! The final destination was Terrigal Beach (check out on the map where is is, I put a pin!) – and what a beach! Long and beautiful, with huge, clear turquoise-blue waves and bright golden-yellow sand that squeaked (!) when walking on and – hardly any people! So after arriving in Melbourne and picking up Anna we headed straight to Jo's (Jim's cousin) house just south of the city centre. We spent the whole weekend with Anna, so for this blog "we" is not just the two of us but the three of us. Before we could have a look around town we dropped off the hire car. We then went for a wander and found out that the Melbourne International Comedy Festival was on so we organised to see some free comedy later ...

Thats us now in Melbourne trying to get jobs and settle in well . . . the pubs and clubs might have been the first thing we checked out but there you go it has to be done!!!
