        ... badly wrong. It’s not that we rely on just one, we check several and note trends etc and this was not supposed to happen. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

        ... in truth a somewhat muted breakfast as we were all a tad jaded after the excesses of the night before – that and no one likes endings and we had had a good time together over the past few days. Still, Copenhagen was calling and by 09:15 we bade our farewells at the station and Julie and I then went on search of a supermarket to stock up for the next few days.

        ... making her way back to Holbæk, her home port. Of course that gave us something to race against but as she was utilising her engine as well as her sails, until she stopped her engine we had no chance but when she did, we caught up rapidly and then overtook her, just as the wind died and for the last hour, we were back on engine.

        ... the stop for me to get off and it was the next one ? Don't know why. Anyway so relieved to see Tante Hennie. Had a big hug and I cried. Then she had to man handle my suitcase !         ... is not permitted to cross by bicycle. Great to see on a Saturday morning our colleague Henrik Nysted who drove to Korsor with his family this to add encouragement and deliver some Danish pastries!! Yum! Yum :-) Once across Storebælt we set out from Nyborg to Odense and by now Alistair and I are finding it a better option if I strike ahead at my pace and he tips along at a pace he feels comfortable with.
