      ... after an exciting afternoon at the laundromat!!! Deciding to brave the local streets in search of food, we eventually came across an American / Latin restaurant. It was a "quaint" local establishment and the hostess was a delight. Our highlight however was that the restaurant door was locked at all times. Obviously they had also heard the neighbourhood was dodgy!!!!!! Needless to say we have survived our walk into the dark side of the Mission District and will live to see another day in ...

      ... Walked through Gateway Park to the area where the amphitheatre the Dejong Modern Art Museum and the Science and Technology Museum are. Time was limited but we went into the Modern Art Museum and went up to the observation deck which allowed us a wonderful view of San Francisco all round. After that we went to the Japanese garden which was so worth the seven dollars entry fee per person. ...

      ... A lot of Chinese outside of Beijing love to shop on 77th St. Very little room for bargaining, but you can find cool items at affordable prices.

      d. Zoo Market.

      I never actually shopped there, but people told me good things about it. The Zoo Market is a wholesale place, where you can get clothes at low prices. There are a few catches. First catch is you can't try on anything. Second, nothing is organized. So, you actually have to dig for things.
