A nice 4 plus hour leisurely drive to Wasa Lake Provincial Campground.. Very level and spacious spots across the street from the beach. Excellent campground. Stayed two days and nights. Least expensive stop to date, but no full service. So quiet ...

The drive through the pass was lovely. The ice is off most of the rivers and lakes but there is still snow on the slopes that gave wonderful relief to their contours. We were both tired so were glad to know that some of the parks in Cranbrook are open.

An evening walk on which we met Cranbrook Ed and a quick supper then an early to bed were the order of the day.

... have been. We did see a couple sheep and a moose today. The ride through was well worth it and we can check a few National Parks off our list! We had wanted to stay in Lake Louise tonight but the campgrounds were full so we kept driving. This took us through Kootaney National Park.
