And we learned:

  • The Palo Verde is not only the Arizona State Tree, but also the easy recognizable little tree with the green colored trunk and branches
  • the fruit Chain Cholla is the Cactus with the big fruits hanging down and looking like the Teddy bear cactus in tree form
  • the prickly pear cactus is a total different one with the flat pear looking 'leaves'

... shop just full of all things M&Ms, from mugs to stationary.. it was so cool! as we walked we had to stop and buy a drink around every 200 metres, as the minute you finish one drink you are immediately thirsty for another, its ridiculous. Never drank so much as there! The MGM Grand and the New York New York hotels were a bit further down the strip, so we trekked down there which was well worth it, as these hotels were so much fun.
