This is the nicest Super 8 we've stayed in. It's large, well-furnished, and very clean. The price cannot be beat. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Outdated room - but clean. Except a mystery spot on the blanket (which we didn't use). Free breakfast in the morning. Also had a pool which I wouldn't have expected.

Before we left Lexington, we stopped for a Geocache in a nearby park. There is a challenge cache at home for which I can qualify if I find, on one calendar day, two caches which are at least 500 miles apart. We will end the day in Hope, Arkansas, and there is a cache in a lamppost at the Walmart there which is about mile from the hotel and 671 …

Left Memphis this morning in the glorious sunshine although a little on the chilly side (47F). Not much to say on this day except that we basically drove clear across Arkansas. We planned to stop in a Flying J in Texarkana so just short of the city we pulled in, gassed up, got ourselves fed up and are heading out to the trailer to spend the night.

... gems are just sitting on the ground. We didn't find any, but it's an engaging activity; you end up really trying to find your prizes amongst the millions of tiny stones your either sift through or sluice. I was exhausted by the effort, myself, but I have to say the facilities here are very good. I would do it again sometime in the future.

Today, we head back home. The weather itself may be our on the road adventure, but so far, so good.
