This is the nicest Super 8 we've stayed in. It's large, well-furnished, and very clean. The price cannot be beat. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Outdated room - but clean. Except a mystery spot on the blanket (which we didn't use). Free breakfast in the morning. Also had a pool which I wouldn't have expected.

Before we left Lexington, we stopped for a Geocache in a nearby park. There is a challenge cache at home for which I can qualify if I find, on one calendar day, two caches which are at least 500 miles apart. We will end the day in Hope, Arkansas, and there is a cache in a lamppost at the Walmart there which is about mile from the hotel and 671 …

It was HOT (95ish) but it's a cute little down town area and we were able to sit outside at a restaurant with Toby and it was in the shade. It was great to catch up and have a milkshake! When I left Memphis, that's when the real fun began...

Notes from home is that you lost power so our furnace is still not fixed but supposed to be there tomorrow, be glad when that's done so we don't have to worry about it. Feel kind of powerless when so far from home.

As it happened, we did not attend the last day of the conference due to unforeseen circumstances. We spent a fairly quiet day; we did tour Little Rock a bit more. We found the Little Rock Central High School site (still a working high school). The brave young men and women who attended that school impressed me, and when I saw the video, I was also impressed at the thought of the parents who had to send their children to this school every day...you ...

The rest of the park was awesome too. We dug for diamonds in a big field (a volcano brought them to ...
