Wednesday 22nd October. Antelope Wells to Tucson by car. Arriving at the Mexican Border at Antelope Wells with Scott, Sue, Adam and Eric was a really nice way to finish The Great Divide odyssey. We'd got up early in Hachita so that we could arrive at the border by midday, organised for a local guy called Jeff to pick us up, and had even arranged for Hans and Denise to bring beers to the border to celebrate. Poor Katelyn had a bit of a hassle getting through, and all in the end because the dumb broad entered her name incorrectly. We had a change over at Seattle, then onto LA landing at 11.45. Cab to our hotel & goodnight. All a bit ...

... we had arrived! It was well worth the journey! We walked along the beach, taking in everything Venice Beach had to offer. There were cute souvenir stores, food vans, dogs in bikinis, up and coming musicians, men in speedos, an outside gym, muscles galore and so much more that neither words nor photographs could accurately capture. We were constantly being entertained by the personalities of locals and musicians trying to ...
