    I drove from San Diego to Los Angeles today! First leg of the journey, woo!

    ... for the basketball game tonight. We then picked up our 4 heavy bags to walk to the post office and send more home. We sent home 2 very heavy packages but we were glad to get rid of them.     ... not a great flight,felt like forever,couldn't sleep with the kid playing games and kicking chair and people coughing there lungs up, got a meal,was mac n cheese with mushroom and spinach eek!!     ... boarding passes for Economy initially, but we were just thankful at that point to get on the flight at all. Once we got through customs, we went to the check in desk, and they managed to upgrade us to Business Class again.

    So back to the champagne and personal service again. I feel so spoilt. Peter has done it this time. Not sure I want to go back to flying Economy after this. ...
