... they had restored their place to it's near origional 1920's style, they took us around the farm, showed us the animals, the HUGE barn that they rent out for weddings and geneally left us wishing we owned the place.

We got up at 2:30 in the morning to start our EPIC road trip of a lifetime! Then we hit the road at 3:15 and it was smooth sailing to Chicago. Annalena had no problem sleeping for the majority of the drive, and the rest of the time she was happy and excited to be in the car. It was a great start to our trip.

More to write later, but here is a quick video of a drive today. Clothes were rinsed last night, slept in and re-worn today...it might be a while before an of us will wear those t shirts again, however this morning began with a big step in my life...I had 3/4 of a banana...yup you all read that right, banana!
