We got up at 2:30 in the morning to start our EPIC road trip of a lifetime! Then we hit the road at 3:15 and it was smooth sailing to Chicago. Annalena had no problem sleeping for the majority of the drive, and the rest of the time she was happy and excited to be in the car. It was a great start to our trip.

From there we went to a farm where they make apple cider but unfortunately we couldn't see it being processed as all the apples this season were ruined because of adverse weather conditions.
