... tour guide for the day at 8:15am...Rocky was his name and our bus driver was Mr. Nu. Rocky was a 29 year old man, who spoke very good English....occasionally got stumped by our questions but I think that was more because of our use of Australian slang more than anything. Mr. Nu however spoke no english so we just left him to do his thing for the day....drive the bus!

Today is very hard to describe. Tiredness had caught up on me. Very badly, I needed sleep. So the morning is all very hazy. Walking down the most commercial street in china with an enormous amount of people was incredible overwhelming, and I immediately missed home. ... and rain put us off, so we returned on board for a hot meal and some entertainment.

Hopefully our next stop, Hong Kong, we will have better weather, but we have been lucky as this is the first stop where the weather spoilt the day.

Not to worry, keep smiling and hope all is well at home. Emails will, hopefully resume in Hong Kong.
