Today started of by taking an hour long bus ride ride to Taihu Lake. Once there, we drove around the coat on the bus, stopped to take some photos and walked around a small village. So, my trip to Xinjiang and Gansu was my first attempt at truly travelling solo, and it was definitely a different experience to travelling with friends. I'm not suggesting it was a bad thing, simply different. Here are a couple of things that I learnt on my adventure:
