... chores, cleaning the apartment; catching up on washing; sorting out my things to take for Patrick and Celtie's wedding and packing the cases to take back to the UK.

It was such a lovely day so I decided to go for a walk at 3.30. I walked down to Changle Lu Xi and walked to the end where it meets the city wall. I paid 50RMB to get up on the wall and walked all along westwards, past Mendong (an area they are refurbishing ...

I seem to be at a supermarket every day, and that is a headache (along with trying to create meals)! Steve is continuing with the job he started in Australia, so no surprises for him. He is happy now that he finally has an office. I am happy that he no longer has easy access to soft drink, ...

The first few days in our 4-storey house, were a killer on the legs! With the unpacking, sorting and cleaning I was up and down the stairs constantly. The first 2 nights I lay awake during the night in agony, but it's awesome exercise for the family (some of us need it more than others!). I DO worry about someone falling down the stairs (I nearly did while cleaning), or the kids falling off a banister, as some big gorilla has shown them how to slide down it! ...
