One of the reasons for this trip was to visit the Water Resources Institute of Jiangxi. A delegation came to visit the Toowoomba campus earlier this year, on the basis of trying to find a partner institute in Australia to work with. Wow what a day! Yesterday we drove back from the Mt LuShan and on the way passed this massive religious statute of Buddha - The Golden Buddha. Its the largest outdoor statute of Buddha in the world at over 81m high. We climbed the stairs to the half way point, and got a great view of the valley below.
