The full fly tower was able to store our entire sound shell which was in the early stages of being flown back up into the ceiling as we packed down the stage. Truly state of the art and a pleasure to play in for our first gig on Chinese soil. The audience was a fair size (approx. 250) - they had paid between NZ$25 and ...

... that specializes on rice. The night is still young so we decide to visit a night market next to our hotel, and we still keep buying food, like mutton sate and some oysters. Not a good decision as after eating oysters on the street one of our friends is poisoned and cannot join the convoy so they take train to reach the next city called Shen Yang, 508 km from Dalian.
