    Following our excitement on Saturday, we were looking for a calmer day. Alison and I planned to walk to the Suzhou Silk Museum. It has received several favorable reviews on TripAdvisor.     ... narrow streets all decorated with lanterns, and perused the gift shops. Onwards we walked to the wall which was partially rebuilt and gave a lovely view of the river and the ornate bridge. We caught the subway to our hostel which is perfectly nice but basic and stinks of wet dog! Due to the rain and the 3 dogs I suppose...     Vers la fin de ma visite du jardin j'ai rencontré une française. Elle était aussi toute seule alors on a passé le reste de la journée ensemble. C'était bien agréable de faire le tour de la vieille ville et des canaux avec quelqu'un. A la fin de la journée elle a sauté dans le bus et voilà....ce fût une rencontre éphémère mais bien ...
