... but managed to not make too big of a deal about it. I resisted the urge to text the guy who runs it and take him on. I had enough beer where it seemed like something should be done and that this dudes hash needed to be settled. Luckily I had not had enough beer that I actually attempted to settle any hash. ... 4 hostels, 3 hotels, 2 boat trips, 1 helicopter ride, 21 new friends, only half a hangover and no trips or falls!! Oh and you're bound to ask about my favourite bits. ... the classiness of Hong Kong disappeared and was replaced by something more like Magaluf or Zante, with masses of people (sadly mainly westerners) swigging beer, falling over and vomiting in the street.

Despite managing to "misplace" my phone in the taxi on the way home from our evening out with Ray (I wasn't one of the embarrassing westerners vomiting in the street, honest!) We left HK with some very fond memories.

... cranked up so cold you spend the journey shivering! We landed into Hong Kong airport and went through with no problem at all. Once in arrivals we set off on the task of finding the premium lounge to collect our return airport express train tickets. A 3 day MRT (underground just like an Oyster card) and return tickets on the cable car to the Buddha. ... mix of a heavy hangover of old colonialism but with the new young talent focusing north to Shanghai. Life is lived in 3 dimensions with a disorientating maze of roads walkways buildings and streets at all levels.
