We then went to find an Indian Restaurant. Unfortunately the one the Westin Hotel Conciage recommended was closed for the Spring Festival, but we were directed to another one, Taste of India, which was excellent, wonderful samosas and succulent chicken korma and chicken tikka.

After we disembarked from the night train we checked into the Westin and then made our way to Yuexiu Hill to visit Sun Yat Sen Monument and the Ming Dynasty Zhenhai Tower (Guangzhou Museum).

... I went back to see Dr. Hugo this Monday. On Thursday I had a CT scan at one of the local hospitals – now that is service! An English speaking nurse and a driver from the clinic took me to the hospital and looked after everything – painless and stress-free for me. ... an early dinner I’ll never forget.

Aside from the great German food, I was gifted by a homemade cheesecake, 10 out of 10, and also, a traditional Chinese tea set. Both of which were unexpected and both left me overwhelmed. Few times I can admit I’ve been left speechless, and this was one of them.
