... height, or scale the wall down. Either option was completely implausible so we had no choice but to turn around and head the other direction. Luckily on our way back Kelly found this path that apparently led down to an east parking lot. However, we were a little skeptical because the path looked like it led straight into the thick of the forest, a place we were all to eager to get out of earlier that day.

September 19 was Moon Day. We celebrated it with our crazy, sarcastic ...

... booze! What a great night, not a foreigner in sight, just mingling with the locals, communicating only with a smile and a nod! The only slight dilemma came after a few beers, how do you ask a Chinese person where the toilet is?

The final day was a quick look at a few more of Beijing’s beautiful attractions before we were at ...

... the teachers apologized to me for having to take the taxi by myself and going through the whole ordeal. That was nice of them.

Before I continue with the rest of my experiences today, I'll teach you a little bit about Beijing taxis. The taxi system is very similar to that in New York City. Though, I sort of feel that hailing a cab in NYC is more difficult than in Beijing, since New Yorkers can be ...
