    ... ringing of a bell as one comes up behind you carrying anything from crates of beer, food stuffs, toilet paper, building material, rubbish, recyclables going to the transit station etc. The concept of a delivery truck or van is non existent. But no pictures. I can't seem to download. I think the speed here is too slow ( maybe I need to go to an upmarket hotel!!!!). I will go back and update when I leave China.     ... wanted to capture the moment when a woman needed help and the crowds continued to go about their business, not even to look and see what happened. The pollution was really, really bad this day, so it might have had something to do with her collapsing. Guards came, but they never took her from the busy platform, or at least not in the 20 minutes that I stood and waited.

    ... had to watch where we were walking, lots of steps in some areas. It was so tempting to be looking at the views and not watching where we were walking. The Wall is amazing. The trees are starting to change color. There are steep mountains that the wall climbs up. We did not go that far. After spending about an hour on the wall we returned to the car.
