    Flight cancelled. After rushing from the Alaska Airlines terminal with only hand luggage, and leaving Bob to collect the checked baggage and meet up with Scott and Rob, I discovered that my flight had been post phoned until Friday morning at 8.30 am.     ... perfect spot so we went there. And hell yeah the spot was super sweet and quiet as it wasn't on the touristy maps. We made some cool photos and even saw two Bambi deers walking around.     ... yes a major rip off that no local would pay but in terms of
    actual money for us westerners it is often hardly anything) .
    Remember to check on bigger things too like the current politics of a
    country (strikes etc) and natural problems (typhoon etc) but stick to
    official sites and bear in mind some websites can exaggerate at
    times; ask a local/hotel staff and do what you feel comfortable with
    whether that's sticking around or moving on quickly.
