    coastal resort of Vermillion ( Ohio) to see a maritime museum which
    was closed so we ended having to taste the local breaded shrimps and
    Buffalo wings at “Quaker and steak lube” a local spot filled with
    old people and memorabilities.

    ... I must say, but no one knew us, so what. The boat trip was well worth it - it takes you right besides the American Falls with the water just about cascading over you then goes as close as the boat can to the Horseshoe Falls, running the length of them, before repeating the American Falls on the return trip. Although the water looked very turbulent, lucky for me the boat was very stable and didn't rock and roll. I am far from the best sailor so I was really pleased. Yes we ...

    Bags packed and heavy we head off to the subway. We're using the LIRR this time as its much faster than the subway, but it starts in the subway system. We were all over the subway here it was pretty easy to get the hang of so we weren't too worried about finding the LIRR. Big mistake, it was poorly marked and confusing but we made it, luckily there are heaps of trains departing all the time and they all go past the station we needed to get off at.     ... am figuring maybe he has just gotten released from jail or a treatment program. He is probably very vulnerable right now if that is the case and a good new friend like her could be a good thing for him or he could also get addicted to her and see her as his savior. This happens with people in treatment sometimes. In any event, it was a very touching scene and I wish them well.
    It’s nice to be back in New York.
