... have no numbers on them. Coins are stupid, the 5c is twice the size of the 10c. It's ****. I stand there like a pensioner with a hand full of cash and invite the cashier to help themselves. Like an old person... Which we are! One truth may be that anyone using the words awesome and like in the same sentence is an idiot. When greeted with, "How are you today?" It is not expected that you respond, "Really very well, thank you, and how are you?" It only causes ...

Now for the challending part: backpacking across Spain! So to start, we headed by train through Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port to begin walking 500 miles to Santiago de Compestela and finally to Finisterre (what people thought was the end of the world in ancient times). We'll be in Pamplona for the running of the bulls so we're ready with our ...

We left Mt Carmel UT at the crack of dawn, drove on the Zion/Mt Carmel scenic Hwy, thr' the 2 tunnels (one is 1.1 miles long) and out with no fee payable, as the US Govt employees had not turned up to work this early. Saved ourselves $25.

Once thr' Springdale (township next to Zion NP) we headed down 9 and 15 passing straight thr Las ...

We don't know if it was combination of jet lag, high altitude or the cold, and hiking that had us exhausted by the time we reached the car park, but was nice to sit on warm seat back in the truck.

Left the Park via hwy 198 - much more twisty road and comes out at 3 Rivers. Headed back to Dinuba for the night.

Today we visited Yosemite National Park. The park is only a short distance from Fresno, but a long drive-- since it's a big elevation change and a very curvy road. We got to the Yosemite valley around 10:30 in the morning and it was packed. Parking was difficult because there was no structure to the lots and it was chaos. We drove around a bit and finally got a spot near ...
