    ... side we had to stop and remove all the extra clothing as it had warmed up but sadly the wind had not slowed and it was still blowing a gale. The bikes average fuel consumption had gone from 56mpg to 38mpg.

    Boy is it hard to wake up this morning! I'm thinking a second cup of coffee is in order. Let's see.....what all will we need today? Camera's, map, binoculars, comfortable shoes, picnic lunch and some drinks. That ought to do it. We are up and out the door by 7:00am. We'll head north on 41 out of Fresno up into the south entrance of Yosemite.
