    We left Chinook and the River's End Campground on Monday heading east to join I-5N. Apparently there was a shrimp truck wreck that tied up the two lane we would normally take to Olympia. Thus, the re-route... We followed Lisa and Rich into Astoria, Oregon for lunch.     ... before, but always fascinating. It sure has changed since were there in the carefree days of pre-9/11. Now there's is airtight security, much like TSA screening at airports. There were only two of us on this tour, but were followed by an armed security guy, after a surly lecture on "can't to this, can't do that, don't even think about it..." kind of warning. Yikes!! Anyway, his blog will slow down as well, since here for awhile, kicking' back.
